Bell & Associates, Inc. Has been engaged to find our client s next Manufacturing Recruiter. This will be a high volume recruiting role in a manufacturing environment. Manufacturing experience preferred but not required. Can come from sales background - someone who understands numbers, targets, and metrics.
The Recruiter will be responsible for professional as well as high volume production recruitment. They must accurately enter data and maintain ATS and hiring records. They will be responsible for proper selection of applicants for placement into appropriate manufacturing positions and ensuring candidate selections best meet operational needs and employee success in a high turnover environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Expertise and use of Applicant Tracking Systems (internal), and online recruitment databases (LinkedIn, etc.) for proactive candidate search purposes.
Ability to represent company at career fairs of all types, to include local career fairs for skilled/non-skilled workers, on college campuses, military and veteran based job fairs, pop-up job fairs, etc.
Ability to lay out a recruitment strategy for production positions in a high turnover environment, which includes gathering an understanding of the available recruitment market, understanding of the meat and pork industry and where plant openings and closures may be occurring for opportunity planning.
Ability to proactively search for a variety of professional candidates, such as accountants, human resources professionals, and other operational leaders, and phone screen these candidates against job requirements to make good recommendations to hiring managers regarding further interview.
Ability to present a strong employment value proposition to each candidate screened and recruited through the understanding of the company s history, strategic direction and partners, benefit offerings, culture, and future opportunity.
Ability to conduct professional presentations and facilitate new employee orientations in non-peak recruitment cycles.
Ability to travel to a variety of recruitment site locations.
Maintain good communication and interpersonal relations with various departments, personnel, local plant, and business people in the community regarding recruiting functions.
Act as a liaison with area employment agencies.
Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Maintain confidentiality of all applicant information and that of the Recruiting and HR departments.
