Role Overview

As the Payroll Manager, you will report to the Global Payroll Director and will be responsible for leading the North American Payroll team.  This opportunity will provide leadership, planning, project coordination and management for an efficient and cost-effective North American payroll operation to meet current and future business needs.  We seek a payroll leader with the below qualifications.

 

Responsibilities

Develop policies and processes relative to the structure and operation of the North American payroll team in a managed services environment.

Ensure continuity in delivery of service to users throughout the North American enterprise.

Ensure the functional scope, service levels and overall contributions of the team are meeting or exceeding expectations and agreed goals.

Determine appropriate balance of people, process, organization and technology to achieve the specified outcomes and results, and make appropriate resource decisions.

Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with HR constituents and customer base.

Serve as a liaison between internal customers, external vendors and functional team members to ensure effective definition and delivery of services.

Responsible for building and maintaining a strong functional team through effective recruiting, training, mentoring, performance management, team building and succession planning.

 

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

6+ years of Payroll Leadership experience.

Demonstrated Multi-State Payroll expertise.

Demonstrated leadership in forming teams, optimizing team talents and growing individuals.

Experience leading multiple projects and priorities.

Deep understanding and in-depth experience with SAP or Globalview Payroll system.

Enjoy being flexible, adaptable and motivated by constant change.  Shown success in an ever-changing, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment.

Demonstrated organizational, prioritization, decision-making, analytical and analytical skills.

Effective oral, written and social communication skills.

Experience with MS Office, specifically a solid working knowledge of Word and Excel.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's in Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.

Master s degree in a business field, Human Resources or Finance is a plus

CPP, PHR, or SPHR certifications preferred

8+ years of Leadership and Payroll experience
