Bell & Associates, Inc. has been engaged to find our client a Payroll Manager that has come available due to an internal promotion. This is a great opportunity to join a well-respected industry leader while managing payroll functions.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Payroll Manager to join an established and well-known organization located in Jefferson City, MO.  Experience with executing payroll functions with Workday and Kronos as well as close workings within HRIS systems, auditing of payroll functions reconciling, and oversight of labor dollars transfers a must.  If you thrive in team-oriented environments while being a subject matter expert, then this may be the opportunity for you to showcase your payroll expertise.  

Professional requirements:

         Experience of processing multi-state payroll cycles via Workday and Kronos

         Auditing of processes to identify errors while reconciling to ensure additional pay, adjustment components and FLSA have been accurately input

         Managing employee data relating to compensation and new hires including time & attendance, commissions, allowances, bonuses, and benefit deductions

         Review of all earnings, deductions and related expenses on the GL interface along with the approval of payroll reclassification journal entries

         Oversees weekly labor dollar transfers and corresponding journal entries along

         Works across all management levels for correct employee hours and adjustments

         Training of supervisors and other payroll associates

         Work within daily on-demand check register to ensure correct adjustments were correctly entered as well as within Kronos

 

Required Skills:

  • 5-7 years of multi-state payroll or HR experience with at least 3 years of management/supervisory responsibility
  • Experience with Kronos, Workday, Oracle Fusion highly preferred
  • Lead UAT for configuration changes and upgrades for Workday and Kronos
  • FMLA and state wage and hour regulations, payroll
  • Advanced Excel including pivot tables and v-lookups
  • FMLA times and attendance guideline knowledge
  • FPC and/or CPP experience desired
  • SQL or advance query language skills preferred
  • Problem-solving and Customer Service skills
  • Ability to work with management across the organization
