Payroll Associates - Contract

Bell & Associates, Inc. are engaged with several clients searching for payroll associates on a contract basis. Length of contract and pay varies upon position. Interviews taking place within the next two weeks. Most positions are looking for the below skills and qualifications.
Compile employee hours, earnings, changes and deductions
Coordinates and processes semi-monthly payroll
Maintain child support and garnishment orders
Maintain tax account setup accuracy and tracer follow ups/filings.
Create, format, and distribute reports as needed.
Ability to research and apply problem-solving techniques for issues reported.
2-4 years' payroll processing experience
Proficient in the use of computers and programs to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
High level attention to detail
Excellent accounting and mathematical skills
Ability to appropriately handle confidential information
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Knowledge of employment tax filings
Experience processing child support and garnishments
High school diploma or GED is required
Bachelor s Degree or related field combined with three (3) years of multi-state payroll experience, including two (2) years of experience processing commissions and various types of employee bonuses; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
