Contract to Hire/ Must start ASAP
$25 - $40/hr.
Our client has engaged Bell & Associates to help them find their next Healthcare Recruiter. This person will be responsible for interviewing, testing, referring applicants and making hiring decisions for Nursing, Physician and healthcare related positions.
Develops a pool of potential candidates through sourcing, advertising, recruitment fairs and other creative means.
Recruits qualified candidates through resume screening, interviewing, background checks and collaboration with hiring managers.
With approval from Compensation, negotiates starting wages with candidates assuring that offer is within compensation guidelines.
Monitors and maintains recruitment advertising budget assuring that expenditures remain within budgetary constraints.
Complies with all legal and regulatory requirements for the recruitment process and communicates to appropriate parties when potential compliance issues are identified.
Participates in the implementation of employee programs and events that are sponsored by the Human Resources Department.
Serves as a resource to managers and associates with regard to Human Resources policy and procedures.
Assumes responsibility for knowing and maintaining established hospital and departmental objectives, policies/procedures including general sanitation, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
Participates in performance activities including problem identification, data collection, solution selection, implementation and evaluation. Also assists in the care and maintenance of departmental equipment and supplies as appropriate.
Participates in staff meetings and other inservices, meetings or committees as required.
Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, inservice meetings, workshops and committees.
- Bachelors degree, preferably in Human Resources or Business Administration.
- 3+ years of recruitment and/or Human Resources experience, preferably in a health care environment.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office, database management and internet.
- Excellent interpersonal assessment, communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to organize multiple tasks simultaneously.
