Bell & Associates has been engaged to help our client find their next HR Manager. This position is accountable for providing support to leaders in all areas of human resources. This person will provide assistance in various functional areas such as: employee relations, benefits and compensation, employment, and training and development. They will assist in the administration and implementation of HR policies and procedures and their dissemination. They will establish and maintain a solid working relationship with all departments and entities. This role requires a strong knowledge of human resource policies and procedures. This person will actively participate in outstanding customer service and accept responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
Accountable to support a work environment that fosters positive employee relations.
Provide guidance to Managers and supervisors regarding the proper and consistent application of company policies in regard to employment, benefits, compensation, and problem resolution.
Ensure compliance with all federal regulations governing HR policies and procedures (e.g., I-9s, tracking licenses and certifications, TJC, KDHE, etc.) and oversee the maintenance of confidential personnel files.
Assist with employee performance appraisal process, benefit administration, talent acquisition, compensation administration, compliance, recordkeeping and HRIS.
Coordinate workers' compensation claims, leave coordination, FMLA and ADA.
Facilitate the updating of job descriptions.
Provide research for development and integration of appropriate entity policies.
Assist employees with routine human resource/personnel related questions.
Conduct exit interviews as needed.
Maintain confidentiality in all human resource activities.
Provide routine back-up for front desk as needed.
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Administration or related field
2 - 5 years of experience in HR in a Health Care Industry
PHR or SHRM-CP required
Strong skills in using software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations and different levels of management
Strong communication and presentation skills with a proven ability to influence and lead teams to conclusion/decision making.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a diverse population.
Proven ability to think strategically by designing global concepts, but also must be able to lead day-to-day tactical processes.
Demonstrated ability to manage and provide coaching and leadership on large and complex projects.
Positive, proactive, service oriented and thrive in a fast paced environment. Change Agent.
Demonstrated track record of high motivation, able to work autonomously and have a high degree of flexibility to adapt to changing projects, priorities and work volumes.
Must be able to lead and/or facilitate process improvement, applying best proactive design to ensure organizational change.
Proven ability to manage conflict while offering alternative solutions without jeopardizing overall project direction and the ability to manage internal and external customer expectations.

Must have excellent communication, both written and verbal, and interpersonal skills.
