Our client has engaged Bell & Associates to help them find their next HR Generalist. This person will be responsible for the administration of compensation and benefits, legal compliance, workers' compensation, unemployment compensation, performance management and employee relations, records administration, recruitment support, and learning and development management.
Maintain knowledge of Federal, State and local legal requirements regarding HR issues and provide management with information for making HR related decisions.
Ensure company compliance with Federal State and Local employment law.
Maintain employee personnel files and records pertaining to promotions, transfers, training and certifications, company property issues, and employee statistics for internal and government reporting.
Research, analyze and participate in the development/design of company's benefits plans and programs
Develop and distribute employee communications
Administer employee PTO, sand personal leave accrual plans
Conduct enrollments and maintain individual employee benefits records
FMLA and leave of absence administration
Process employee benefits forms/requests
Interpret coverage and answer employee inquiries
Reconcile benefits statements
Administer Workers' Compensation claims, coordinating with insurance provider to submit accident reports and comply with OSHA and state reporting requirements
Coordinate with Payroll for accurate payroll processing
Administer Employee Performance Evaluation process
Deliver learning content
Administer employee surveys
Schedule and conduct exit interviews
Develop employee change statements
Maintain Employee Information Records in ADP Database
Develop and distribute information from the system to be used for reporting requirements
Develop recruitment advertisements for internal and external posting
Manage internal and external requisition postings
Coordinate background checks
Administer pre-employment assessments
Create employment offer materials
Conduct new employee orientation
Some domestic travel (approximately 10%)
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university with 3-5 years related experience.
Knowledge of Database software; Human Resource software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software; Word Processing Software; and Email Communications software.
