Our client has engaged Bell & Associates to help them find their next HR Business PartnerThe HR Business Partner will independently deliver human resources support to assigned location(s) with a focus on engagement, onboarding, associate relations, performance management, and associate communications. The incumbent serves as subject-matter expert regarding applicable state and local employment laws within assigned location(s) and will ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures.

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

  • Lives and exemplifies the Company Principles.

  • Serves as champion of the mission and vision of the company and associate advocate in all interactions.

  • Cultivates workforce engagement, including the communication, implementation, and follow up actions of the Annual Associate Engagement Survey.

  • Owns all aspects of associate relations for assigned location(s). Escalates complex or unique matters as appropriate.

  • Assists with the development and administration of programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company.

  • Builds strong working relationships with management and partners to communicate policies, procedures, programs, and laws.

  • Ensures that policies and processes are consistently administered across the organization.

  • Recommends associate relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of engagement and retention.

  • Improves manager and associate performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counseling managers and associates.

  • Leads investigations related to associate concerns that are brought forth according to organizational policy.

  • Records and manages associate information such as, but not limited to, personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance evaluations and termination information.

  • Processes unemployment claims and assist in appeals when needed.

  • Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.

  • Other job duties as assigned.

 

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field (or equivalent combination of experience and education) required.

  • PHR/SPHR preferred.

  • 4+ years of progressive HR experience in an organization of similar size, scope and/or complexity (multi-site environment) required.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and practices.

  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with hospital leadership.

  • Demonstrated high level of confidentiality.

  • Highly efficient with excellent organizational skills.

  • Demonstrated communication, feedback and coaching skills.

  • Ability to effectively communicate, influence all levels of management, and cultivate trusting relationships with associates.

  • Works well in a team environment.

  • Strong multi-tasking ability.

  • Frequent travel (up to 50%) within the assigned region is required.
