Desktop Support Analyst

$50k-$60k (OT eligible)

Bell & Associates, Inc. has been engaged to find our client s next Desktop Support Analyst due to an internal vacancy as a result of employee relocation.  This is a great opportunity to join a KC based company that leads their industry and is an internationally recognized company.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced desktop support professional to join an established organization as a Desktop Support Analyst located in the North Kansas City area.  The Desktop Support Analyst will be part of a two-person team and interact with entry level to executive level leadership daily.  This role requires with excellent verbal/written communication skills, someone who can think on their feet, fix issues, and move on quickly to the next task.



  • Partner with internal employees to resolve desktop related issues

  • Install hardware and software, relocate computer systems to new areas, set-up new desks, and add hardware

  • Resolve incidents assigned via the Incident Management System in order of assigned time and priority

  • Provide process improvement ideas in a collaborative spirit to IT Leadership

  • Global support of desktop and laptop systems, including break/fix service, operating system and application loading, application configurations and user settings, and desktop administrative duties

  • Apply trouble shooting to system issues in order to bring about resolution

    Participate in project UAT testing for desktop dependencies


Professional requirements:


  • An associate degree in IT or related field is required for client consideration with a bachelor s degree strongly preferred

  • Office 365 proficiency required

  • A+ certification required

  • Network+, HP, Dell, certifications highly preferred

  • 2+ years experience in an internally facing desktop support role

  • Understand and apply technical manuals to resolve issues

  • Partner with the Service Desk, Application Support, and infrastructure teams as needed for overall incident management

  • Flexibility to work extended hours when needed, including weekends (OT eligible)

  • Ability to prioritize workflow and determine solutions
